I’ve co-authored several New York Times best-sellers. I was nominated for a Nobel Prize (kind of) and some James Beard Awards (including for my Taste column). I even won one!

The editors of The Norton Reader selected my Gourmet magazine essay on cooking with one arm for their anthology of non-fiction, which includes writing from Barack Obama, Ernest Hemingway, and Jesus.
